The
neighborhood is on a hill just above the Vatican area, which means 5 min
walk from the nearest metro station and less than 10 min from the
Vatican Museums. Just in front of our building there are two supermarket
and grocery stores, two nice cafeterias and a quite famous and cozy
roman cusine restaurant.

Hi we are Matteo an Christiaan, two friends and professionals
sharing a big and sunny house in Rome very close to the Vatican city.
The house has also a little and cozy sleeping room with private bathroom
so we decided to rent it sometimes to visitors and, well, here we are.
Matteo: I'm from Rome, I work for a major classical orchestra in Renzo Piano's Auditorium, so you might hear some Tchaikovsky or Mozart coming out of my hi-fi from time to time but no worries, never too loud and never late… I love music, food, movies, and really like meeting new people.
Christiaan: I am an art and history lover born and raised in Rome to an Italian father and a Dutch mother. I studied History of Art here in the Eternal City and then specialized in Religious Art at the Vatican. I am an official licensed tour guide thrilled to show the beauties of my hometown to my lucky visitors. If you are reading this, it means you booked your ticket to come to Italy, good for you! You'll love it! If you need any advice about how is the best way to live Rome, just ask…
